Research for Oral Rehabilitation
Translational and clinical research in reconstructive dentistry involves the development, testing and application of various materials for fixed prostheses (crowns and bridges), removable prostheses and restorations on dental implants. The aim is to optimize CAD/CAM-assisted fabrication and development of surfaces with low biofilm adhesion, focusing on the interaction with soft tissues and the host response, hard tissue integration and mechanical stability of screw-retained and cemented restorations.
