Arithmetic Dynamics and Heights

We investigate dynamical systems coming from polynomials or more generaly rational functions from a number theory point of view. Our emphasis is on connection to Lehmer's Problem and the Schinzel-Zassenhaus Conjecture, the latter was recently resolved by Vesselin Dimitrov. A first preprint was uploaded in 2021: P. Habegger, H.
