Superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPD) can achieve near-perfect detection efficiency over a broad spectral range. The goal of this project is to produce a complete solution for high-performance SNSPDs at a low fabrication cost. It will allow simple integration and alleviate the complexity of the cryogenics. Current users are mostly research labs, but are system will have the potential to reach widespread use in emerging commercial applications.
