Protein folding in membranes and Multi Drug Resistance

The main projects are (i) the molecular mechanism of the interaction of cell penetrating peptides and related analogs with sulfated glycosaminoglycans and lipid membranes (J.Seelig) and (ii) the action mechanism of P-glycoprotein and related ABC transporters involved in multi-drug resistance (A. Seelig). For both projects quantitative data are obtained and published.
