Pediatric Alveolar Cleft Assessment: The Role of Virtual Reality and 3D-Printed Models in Dentomaxillofacial Radiology
Research Project |
|
This study supported by SGDMFR evaluates the accuracy, usability and educational value of three surgical planning and 3D visualization approaches based on dento-maxillofacial radiology, virtual reality, 3D-printed models, and traditional 3D planning software, in assessing anatomy of craniofacial malformation and quantifying the shape of alveolar clefts in paediatric patients. It will also assess the user experience of VR as both a planning tool and an educational platform, while analyzing how demographic variables influence measurement accuracy and user satisfaction across the different methods.
