Machine perfusion in diseased donor kidney transplantation

This is a retrospective study. Anonymized patient-level data will be retrieved from database of Swiss Transplant, UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing, United States of America, data are already provided by UNOS) , NHS (National Health Service, United Kingdom, at final stage to provide the data) and Eurotransplant (study synopsis submitted). The 5-year survival outcome in the study group will be compared with equivalent in the control groups. We will conduct a multivariate analysis to explore the value of machine preservation in outcomes of DCD kidneys. We will also compare the incidence of delayed graft function, creatinine course, morbidity and mortality between groups.
