Comprehensive and multidisciplinary investigations of the dynamics of deep geothermal systems and the interactions between hydrological cycles, geochemical properties and microbial community structures. The study is the PhD project of Sebastien Giroud of the Environmental Isotopes Group of Eawag, and focused on the Lavey-les-Bains geothermal region in the Swiss Alps.
