Systemic risks in the financial system are monitored and mitigated through regulatory measures. The debate on financial stability regulation has been revived in the wake of the bank failures in the spring of 2023. Seven Swiss law professors from six universities have therefore formed the FSL Forum (Financial Stability Law Forum) to discuss stability issues such as the TBTF problem in Switzerland from a legal perspective. The FSL Forum aims to contribute to an objective public discourse. Particular attention will be paid to the international dimension of the issue. We are committed to ensuring that legal expertise is consulted in the legislative and regulatory process on a sufficiently broad basis.
