Evidence-based communication techniques for better patient – health care team interaction
Effective communication is a fundamental skill and a critical component in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Consequently, teaching communication techniques is a major focus in the education of medical students and physicians. However, there is a significant gap in high-quality evidence demonstrating the positive effects of these techniques across various medical fields. The aim is to develop evidence-based communication strategies that enhance patient outcomes and rigorously test their effectiveness across different quality indicators through well-controlled clinical trials.
