Moshao Makhele obtained his medical degree from Kharkiv National Medical University in Ukraine and his MPH in Health policy and management from University of Pretoria, South Africa. He has over 5 years’ experience managing multi-disciplinary teams with experience working for both government and a donor funded organization. He uses his broad skill set to define, critically assess, and resolve a broad spectrum of public health problems and issues, ranging from communicable and non-communicable diseases, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV (PMTCT), sexual and reproductive health, and cervical cancer. His research interests are in HIV and non-communicable diseases.
