Our group is dedicated to advancing organ-preserving endoscopic care for gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary disease through innovation in advanced resection techniques, T1 colorectal carcinoma management, and therapeutic ERCP/EUS. Within the HORIZON ECOPoP project, we contribute to developing evidence-based pathways for organ preservation in early colorectal cancer. We combine translational research on devices, energy settings, and AI with clinical trials, registries, and competency-based training, including simulation and virtual reality platforms. In collaboration with leading centres in Oslo, Leuven, Milan, and Toronto, we strive to accelerate the safe and effective implementation of cutting-edge endoscopic therapies and training pathways that benefit patients worldwide.
