Christian Huber is Professor of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Universität Basel, Switzerland, and a head of department at the Adult Psychiatry Clinic, Universitäre Psychiatrische Kliniken (UPK) Basel, Switzerland. At the UPK Basel, he is in charge of the Department of Psychotic Disorders and the Hometreatment Team.
His scientific interests are focused on translational research and rooted in clinical psychiatry, social psychiatry, and health services research, covering schizophrenia spectrum disorders, agitation and aggression, compulsory measures in psychiatry, stigmatization, early detection and treatment of psychiatric disorders, and psychodiagnostics.
