Global Philanthropy (Meier)

We focus on researching international philanthropy initiatives and their contribution to solving complex global problems. Our research is based on innovative methods such as machine learning, the handling of large data sets, computer linguistics (natural language processing) and web scraping and it investigates individual and institutional philanthropy, also in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Our research complements research at the Center for Philanthropy Studies (CEPS), which focuses primarily on philanthropy in Switzerland.
